I am looking for information about this table lamp. Manufacture, year, style, etc.
There are 3 light sockets, one in each metal flower. There is also a light socket in the center to showcase the 3 ribbed glass, hand painted panels. A sailboat scene, The same sailboat seen, appears on all three panels.
Unfortunately this lamp has seen better days. The three metal “Straps” holding the glass panels in place are not free from the base. The metal isn’t very strong so I’m not quite sure how to go about restoring the lamp or if it’s possible without altering the appearance greatly.
Any thoughts or information you have regarding this item would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Antique Epergne Table Lamp Centerpiece
Up for your consideration is a stunning Estate found antique reverse glass painted epergne lamp, c. 1900. It is features 3 goose-neck arms each with 6 leaf petals around the socket. Nestled inside the arms is a glass epergne vase witch would hold a floral arrangement. The body has three reverse painted glass panels which depict a flower basket and ribbons. The petals should have glass prisms attached to them. Each petal has a hole in which a prism can be attached. The arm sockets work but look as if they could use a replacement or tighten (as seen in photos). There is no damage to the glass panels or the center vase.
