Here is another floriform vase - this one was sold as being English - from Stourbridge.
To me, it does have a more "Victorian" look to it than the Art Nouveau flamboyance of Kralik type floriforms.
I must admit that it is rather different to my other floriforms, being smaller & finer in form.
The upright, pointed petals are reminiscent of those seen on epergne trumpets.
Made from clear yellow - green glass (which looks slightly bluish in certain lighting conditions) which contains uranium, it sits on two fine legs, with an applied, crinkly leaf (there's a bit missing off the end, but it matters little to get something so lovely).
It measures 13.5 cm tall at the highest point, & 12.5 cm from end to end.
The colors are amazing and blend so well with nature. Thank you for sharing another beautiful piece of uncommon art glass.
Many thanks, TreasureTex!
