After saying Coro wasn't a favorite of mine, I saw this adorable Coro bird cage at the little antiques mall. This mall usually doesn't have much in it and what it does have is often disappointing. But this little pin was so detailed and charming and Coro signed to boot, I bought it. The cage door opens and inside a little bird sits on a swing. The swing dangles from a loop so it moves. This design is a 1950 A Katz design for Coro and patented. (Pat. No. 157,970) There were several other designs that year that had a pearl drop. Thanks for stopping by.
Since Coro seems to be on your path...welcome it. This is a very lovely brooch and thanks for sharing.
Rockit, Thanks, I do try to welcome it. Really I hardly find anything anymore, so when I see something interesting I don't pass it up:) Thanks for your encouraging post. We have to stay open to what comes our way.
