I haven't been to a thrift shop for a couple of weeks, but the last time I went to a nearby shop, this bowl was there. It is 8" in diameter and 2.75" high, well formed and symmetrical. It has a very rough, sharp pontil.
I gave it a pretty close look on my previous visit and decided it probably came from a studio sale at the Glass House of the local University's art glass program which is headed by John Miller. It was only $2.99 but not signed, so I passed on it, even though I was drawn to it. Probably by a student of John Miller, though. It was still there when I stopped by today, so decided to take it home. Not sure why the artist chose to not sign it. Maybe because they were so confident in their craft?
