      Pic of the underneath sometime reveals hints on it's origin.

      I added a picture of the underside. There were no markings anywhere.

      I just picked up one of these (not in as great shape as this one). While cleaning and polishing, I saw marking on bottom: W.H. Gunlocke Chair Company, Wayland, NY. Looks to be 1920's office chair. Great find!
