This little silver tree is the latest pendant spotted on my charity shop travels. What drew me to it was the flowing natural designs on it's branches that seem both Celtic and Art Nouveau which are two artistic styles I happen to love! :P
Each branch spans out to finish off in a Celtic triquetra knot or Celtic triple knot. There are no maker's name on the little tree itself apart from the underside of one of the branches which seems to have an 'A2A' on it which I'm not really sure what that means in regards to silverware? But if anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to know?! It was REALLY difficult to spot these little marks on it because the tree itself is so small.
Cost- €20( $22.42/£17.02)
Beautiful silver tree with lovely curvy branch ends and wonderful Celtic knot history
Thanks Broochman, I can see where your coming from in the rather lace like thready structure of an insect's wings in this!
Thanks a lot Newfld, :)
