I found this beautiful old GTE leather and wood in Rotary boxed telephone during my deep clean of the house. I think it’s been in one of the storage containers for about 20 years. I don’t even remember where I got it from.

WONDERFUL! I've got one of those around here somewheres too, I think -- they were "executive" models sorta intended to perfectly fit into the up-and-coming early 1970's biznessman's modern office decor. A product of the time just before (then into) the whole 'government de-regulation' of "The Bell System" which ultimately resulted to twist the whole ("landline") telephone industry into a mess of competitors (instead of simply being a 'utility', like the water or power Co.) immediately before the "cell phone" got invented and turned the whole idea of 'what a phone is' on its head once more... :-)
