These vases are 12 inches tall and are cased clear on outside and light blue on the inside. Who made these? I have had these 2 vases for 35 years and have done a lot of research. I have never seen any others like them.

Am I seeing the design correctly, are the bases fish motifs? Interesting design, lovely!

several do show up in google search using: Victorian cased glass Dolphin vase

tho' I cannot say for certain that they are from the Victorian era. This dolphin motif was popular at that time; it's designed after the dolphin fish, and not the bottle nose dolphin that's popular these days.

Thank you for your information and I copied and paste (Victorian cased glass Dolphin vase) in the google search block and 2 sets shows up. The word dolphin was key. I clicked the pics and each set took me to an ebay auction. That is the first time I have seen any others. I bought these from a little shop in Hampstead Maryland where I purchased several pre depression pitchers 35 years ago. At least I now know that there are others. I am going to let this remain in the unsolved mystery with the hope of finding what glass company made these. Thank you again for your time and info.
