Hi JMWheatley,
You have a clock Sessions called their "Assortment New 'A' No. 1" from circa 1906. They were offered in Oak or Walnut. Yours looks fairly dark without prominent grain patterns so I would guess that it is made from Walnut, but I'm not 100% certain.
Your example is missing two side "wings" or molding pieces that were attached to the case just to the sides of the dial. They blended to shape of the stamped decorative pieces around the top of the case into more of a circular shape.
While I can't find an exact matching model online, I did find an "Assortment 'A' No. 4" from circa 1903 here: Antique Sessions Oak "Assortment A, No. 4" Clock
You can see the "wings" or molding that I'm referring to on it.
