It's really hard to photograph an item that has a mirror and avoid showing the world what you look like at 4:15 a.m.! I found this vintage compact at a recent estate sale. It's Marhill brand judging by the label inside -- it's really not a mystery but there's not a lot of info out on the web about the company. Is it made of leather or vinyl? When was it manufactured, etc.? Any info is appreciated.

Etsy has a couple with your type of top. Marhill seems to have made a lot Mother of Pearl.
Lots of other web sites but I don't see much actual information. I didn't look around too much, so you might find what you need.
