As mentioned before, I’m not an expert on Czech glass...or Hobe for that matter. But I do love old Czech Glass and get quite excited when stumbling across it, even though it may not be perfect.
I was at our local antique gallery a few weeks ago doing a quick walk Through. One of the dealer’s had a jumble of necklaces stuck in a corner so after taking a quick peek, found this little cutie for $8. I had my loupe so could tell the beads weren’t plastic, they were painted it appeared, but couldn’t find a mark. Took it home and cleaned it up. On the ring that hooks to the spring ring that closes the necklace, it says Made in Czechoslovakia.
The metal fittings between the beads aren’t in the best condition, but from a distance it looks okay...just old. Like me. ????
Wedding cake beads, just beautiful and a bargain for $8!! I just love it when you find that stamp on the jump ring :)
Pebble Yes! Wedding cake beads...my brain couldn’t come up with the correct term! Thank you! And I had to hunt for that mark...I knew it was there...just had to ge through the grime. Thank you for looking!

Valentino97 Yes, it is very short and only measures about 14-1/8”. The beads themselves measure 1/2”, 1/4”, and 1/8”.
Thank you for looking!

Ms.CrystalShip thank you, Eileen! Glad I took time to rummage through the stuff and spotted them. I just couldn’t remember the name of the beads...wedding cake. I’m glad Gillian said that. This getting old with an MS brain gets aggravating on occasion!
