This 2 1-2"W bull brooch has a colorful enamel design and is marked S925 for sterling silver, probably of Mexican origin.

The colors and pattern in this work so well together. And a bonus that it’s sterling!
He is a stunning bull! He's so elegant and artistic the pose, the movement and the colour altogether are really really great for this piece! I particularly love his really long and elegant tail and the really nice mix of blues and golds and browns used- it brings to mind really bright pieces of pottery or terracotta commonly seen in Mexico(and Spain too!)
That would be me, no big surprise I'm sure, lol... Wonderful brooch love the enamel art work.

MrsT, this was such a surprising find for me, while I am a fan of Mexican sterling pieces they are almost always with abalone inlay, so it was a delight to see this array of colorful enamel, thank you so much for noticing and your super compliment

Lauren you are absolutely right, this design is so much like terracotta pottery designs from Mexico, Spain & even Portugal, and must be where the designer got their inspiration.
