I just received confirmation that the model shown to the right is indeed a rare Bronzart B-17G. This may be one of the rarest Bronzart models next to the small production and virtually extinct Northrop Flying Wing model. Unlike its older sibling (B-17E on left), this B-17G model is a true desk model with a companion desk model stand. These promotional desk models were produced towards the end of WW2 for two years ending by 1947. Both models shown in the pictures are 1/72nd scale, cast in metal and individually weighed over four pounds making them both quite heavy. The B-17G is actually a complete model including all four propellers that are currently undergoing their restoration. As with most vintage Bronzart models, there are condition issues. These typically have hairline cracks that will be professionally addressed. It also means that it will be restored and repainted as it was delivered in 1945. Please review the faded sell-sheet advertisement for the Bronzart B-29, P-51D and B-17G.

      Thanks Scott,
Yes, thanks to another collector friend and client, I now have a copy of the ad. It was published in some old sero mags so the hunt is on to track one down.
