This bowl has me stumped. It's about 5.5" diameter and heavy for the size--weight is almost 1.5 lb. The outer wrap is double layer metal and there is an inner insert made of copper. The main metal is non-magnetic and looks like it may be pewter or maybe nickel. I'm just not sure. A lot of hand-done metalwork--beading around the edge, with a tiny rope design below that and a hammered scallop design below that! Plus there are the ridges all around. And on one side (see photo 1) more vertical rows of beading plus some other designs. Any guesses as to where this might have been made or what the main metal is? Any help would be appreciated.
