Love this! Looks like it's from the Dry Creek Mine. I'm not 100% positive on that because I don't have any Dry Creek yet, but it's definitely on my list! I'll take a peek to see if I can find the artist. That chain is a beauty also. It's hand made as well. The stamping on it isn't a direct hit, so it has me wondering a little. There are a ton of excellent silversmiths on Instagram that simply amaze me and this could possibly be one of those pieces. It's sometimes hard to tell the difference but I'll take a look at a good site that has a lot of references. I'll also link it to you here. I'll be back! This has gotta be dry creek tho due to it's pale color! Love it!

Here's one that has been recently updated but I do not find your piece's markings here. This can be as difficult as an artists' paintings to find at times. You just have to stay diligent and keep looking. I've found some that have taken a very long time to find but I do a lot of research, so I always keep in mind a piece I have not id'd yet while looking for another. I usually find what I'm looking for but sometimes I don't. I also always try to purchase pieces that are signed but if I love it, I'll buy it anyway!

Here us another site that I refer to and the lady that runs this site is a sweetheart!

She gives a lot of good info for free here.

The piece you have could possibly be Variscite, you can look that up and since you have yours in hand, may be able to tell the difference. I'd be interested to see what you find!

Wait a sec... Mexican??? What makes you think it's Mexican? I don't think it is. Did I give you the same link? LOL! You would think I would cut loose and buy a couple good books that are out there, I simply forget about it whenever I have any extra cash. I'd rather shop!!!

Gillian, do you know why this is on here twice? It's got my name on the other one as if I made a comment?!? But no comment shows. I don't think I like that so much.

Ahh - The dreaded double post. After you've finished posting what you want to say, press submit, and then go, directly, up to Show & Tell, your post should be there. I'm not sure what happens, but sometimes after you submit your post, you see it's still in the 'comment or question' box, so you think it didn't submit correctly, pressing submit again, and you'll have a double post.
