Stumbled on to this piece years ago and have not been able to identify the err-ea or style. By looking at it I would assume it's from the 1800's but I have never seen anything else that resembles it.

Looks to be Eastlake (1870- 90s). If you do a search for "eastlake dresser", you will find similar pieces.

This piece looks to be late in the period, so I would think 1890s.

Scott, Thanks for your feedback. This does appear to be an eastlake piece. However I have only been able to find one or two pieces that resemble this. But you seem to be spot on. Thanks again!

Glad to help out petersen. These used to be very popular, but like most 19th century American furniture, interest has waned. But of course that means that prices are reasonable.

      Buy it now!

Understand-- I was making a general statement. 19th century American furniture is very cheap now. Priced at about the same level as particle board.
