Love this lamp we purchased at an estate auction as a splurge. It is 8 panels and extremely heavy. I looked for any makers mark however have not had any success. If anyone has any insights I would sincerely appreciate. A gentleman at the estate told me it was Imperial but I have not been able to find any similar. I have found the base on a Bradley Hubbard? Thank you!!
Very informative!

You picked the right thing to splurge on.
Sorry - that wasn't even a double post, it was a disappearing post. I am sure I posted this:

I also said that was the best splurge you ever made!
Please tell me C&W are having problems with everything!!
Dear GIllian and Keramikos, thank you so very much for taking the time to share your expertise! Very, very informative! I checked out the patents, to no avail but certainly good information to be aware of. As I look online, I am still not sure what I have...I see on the shop section of collectors weekly, there is a similar one (https://www.ebay.com/itm/283278677010?ul_noapp=true) however a different base as well as a bit different detail work in the actual shade. A fella at the auction said it may be an Imperial however I think he was mistaken as the other lamp that was sold for 700. was an Imperial. May I ask, has anyone used the Barneby's appraisal service online? I absolutely love the lamp...I am just having a bit of hard time getting my head around how much I spent for it...hoping if it is an authentic lamp, I can at least have that piece of mind and continue to enjoy the loveliness of the lamp.
So glad I found this site...very informative!!
OR the appraisal here on valuemystuff which appears to link to Barnebys as well
Thank you for all of your help Keramikos! I think I finally got the pictures right :) I will kick over an update if I am able to find out any additional information from the appraisal as well. Enjoy your day!
