    In reply to sklo42's post of a rather wonderful basket attributed to Harrach, this basket from my collection has some similar qualities - most notably the bumpy texture & neatly polished out pontil mark.
    I picked this up many years ago at a flea market where it was sold as the ubiquitous "50s Murano".
    The outer casing of ivory coloured glass contains uranium - cased over a pale aqua blue. The clear applied handle has a stylised bamboo design.
    At the time I thought it might be English, but now?
