Hi everyone!!
I've had this set of cast iron Peter Rabbit and Mr. Ratty for a couple of years and they've been sitting on my patio rusting away. So, I decided to clean them up and paint them, as I have already done to my other set. I gave these a bit brighter colors than the previous set I painted. These were cast in England around 2009. So, not vintage yet, but will eventually be. Peter Rabbit is 18" tall and Mr. Ratty is 20" tall. They weigh about 20 lbs each.
In case you missed the Peter Rabbit and Mr. Ratty I posted a couple of years ago, here's the link.

Hi Ken!! Thanks a million! I didn't put a tremendous amount of time in choosing the colors, but my wife suggested the striped pants. Glad she did.

Hi Mr J! I just love coming on here and when you glance at the first page, you know who's post it's from! You did a great job, love the pants idea... very creative. How many paint brushes got ruined in the process??? haha I know I've been painting a ceramic eagle and the paint brushes get trashed so this has got to been along the same lines, I would think anyway!
Hi Sue!!
Thanks so very much for the wonderful comment!! I bought a decent set of brushes a couple of years back. I use acrylics, so I clean the brushes and let them air dry and they're still in nice condition. I haven't had to trash a brush in quite a while.
Great!! Looking forward to it T.
