I'VE BEEN HOLDING ON TO THESE LAMP SHADES IN HOPES OF FINDING A COUPLE OF BASES TO FIT THEM WITH AS OF YET THE SEARCH IS STILL ON ! I PURCHASED THEM BECAUSE THEY REMIND ME OF A PEACOCK FEATHER DESIGN AND I JUST LOVE THE OX BLOOD RED CONTRAST WITH THE BLACK DESIGN

They're *very* pretty indeed!! <applause> I can't guess their age/origin, but wonder if they would fit typical "pendant" light fixtures currently available at most any home store? I just added a few pics of a similarly colored (though differently shaped) one that hangs over my kitchen sink.
