Parrotbeak
(39 items)
A brooch of a man with a chordophone (I wouldn't know which one specifically). It is most likely from France, 1940s-1960s, and made from gilt bronze. The layer on the front is worn quite a bit, while the back is in perfect condition. This piece is as far as I can see unsigned, although I know brooches like this one can have very hard to see or semi-hidden signatures. (Look up brooches by Line Vautrin or Willy for examples of hard to spot signatures.)
