RARE RINDSKOPF TREE TRUNK VASE

Blood red crackle glass covered in deep silver metallic iridescence, 13.75" [in reality almost 14"], 3 "holes", pontil, pulled rim in the manner of some Loetz vases. I have collected Rindskopf for 30 years and had never see or found one before. Rindskopf is copiously documented in V. 4 of the Passau Glass catalogue. Most f the family was gassed during WWII; some survived by fleeing to London.
