I Found this at a yard sale and i couldn't leave it there didnt even know what brand it was tell yesterday or that people collected them I just had the most uncontrollable urge to buy it and restore it...... even though i know nothing of radio's new or old or electronics I paid $30 for it it was worth it to me not sure how I'm gonna do it
but i like it And hope to fix it and keep it as decor i dont much about its history other than its probley around 1923-1925 is my guess
i found this site trying to figure out what i need to do to find the right tubes i have all sorts of neat antiques to share so I think I will like this site and you guys may get a kick out of my antique collection as well !
i love stuff like original W.M RODGERS silver plate not the oneida stuff they took over everything good in the 1880's i think
i collect all forms of apothecary , tonic , root bitters prohibition era decanters bottles
along with furniture, swords , books that pre-date 1900
japan antiques, I DONT THINK I WILL EVER HAVE ROOM FOR ALL MY ANTIQUE LOVES :)

    I'm a native american artifact dealer & And proud member & seller of the AACA Authentic Artifact collectors Association (not the car club im to poor for that }
and antique fanatic I love anything that has age but artifacts are my Main study my Mother was a picker so were called now she raised me alone by selling antiques her and my Aunt would send my 4 year old rear
to knock on the doors to see if something was for sale kinda funny
I didn't realize how much of all that i learned in tell she passed
Me and Fiancee watch antique road show and we were both amazed at how accurate i can appraise stuff with in the range to profit no joke 95% accurate and i dont know how i know it
    thanks Mom <3
SO This makes me one of the weirdest artifact dealer's and antique lover as I am 30 years old tribal tattoo sleeve and eyebrow piercing and i look like I'm about 20 so I get some funny looks at auctions :) they are thinking did that weird kid just outbid me on that 1860's copy of Shakespeare ? or my favorite was the looks i got when i bid against them on antique costume jewelry lol
well i did MOST know me now & how friendly and how honest I am
I WILL UPLOAD SOME OTHER STUFF SOON WITH LESS TALK ABOUT ME AND MORE ABOUT THE ANTIQUES
Any info on restoration of this radio would be great ! and if i got a good deal at $30-$35 i think it was

You can find out what model it is by looking at the rear of the chassis.
There should be a make and model number.
The serial number does not help in identifying the radio.
You can also go to ''antique radio forum' 'and post a photo.
The guys there will be able to tell you the make and model [given enough information], like how many tubes and any thing else printed on the radio front or rear.
All the parts to restore your radio are available.
DON'T PLUG IT IN until it has been looked at.
