    This knife is stamped with camillus on it. Trying to figure out how old if the handle is original and what its used for. Many thanks

      The marking (name stamp) on the blade should get you an approximate date of mfg. They used different marks. This knife and the location of the mark suggests it is an Army Quartermasters Butcher knife which is listed and shown in a 1943 periodical called Knives that went to war.
