Vintage Shell Shaped Pickle Dish from the Hotel Astor, New York, made by Shenango China.
The decoration featuring the vintage floral motif and hotel's shield-shaped crest with
"Hotel Astor" in the banner.
It measures 8 1/4" long by 4 1/2" at the widest point,
Back-stamped "Shenango China, New Castle, Pa., U.S.A.", with the date code (A8) for
July - December 1950, As referenced on page #413 in Barbara J. Conroy's book
"Restaurant China Volume #2".
