I just can't help it! I am a hoarder of turquoise!!! These pieces are all a 'marriage' but I think they work pretty good together.

So, for my own record, and for anyone that may be doing research, I'm going to do my best at giving all the details I know about the pieces I acquire... I'm sure I should have been doing this all along,... Ok friends, there is no possible way for me to complete anything here right now. This post has literally taken me ALMOST 10 hours to get this far, yes 10 hours and I am completely exhausted. My mother is not well, I should say she has gotten worse and I just am at a loss at the moment. This is the hardest thing ever. I keep thinking I must have truly been a rotten child and it's my payback, but reality and logic tells me it is not true. at least I can chuckle for a minute tho.

I will come as often as I can but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to stay long when I do. I already miss being here so much and having fun with all my friends here!

I will end this post by saying that the only piece here that is actually signed is the new pair of earrings. They are by Leandra Nezzie, it's signed "Leander Nez", Navajo. Also used to stamp the initials "LN". Many Native American silversmiths, over time, have changed the way they sign/stamp their makers mark more than once or twice which makes it a bit hard to identify them if you don't know their work.

The other two pieces I have shown here have both been mis-struck, so I can't tell who the maker is. Now I'm at 11 hours and I am toast!

I'll be back when I can. Much love all and hope to see you soon! xoxo Sue

The turquoise in the 2nd pic looks green and it's just my settings. It' s definitely blue, a very nice blue at that!

Absolutely beautiful turquoise & silver set, I love everything about it, the scalloped design of the necklace, the lovely drop earrings etc.
So sorry about your mom not being well, went through that for yrs with my own, yes we tend to feel we deserve this but of course it's not our fault and it's so hard when family gets ill, wishing you all the best & hope it gets easier.
Great post Sue (may I call you Sue, or share, whatever you prefer :)

Jenni, thank you so much for your kind words! I do appreciate it very much. It's probably the hardest thing we'll ever do, right? It's an emotional rollercoaster, for sure!

Glad you love these pieces, I do too ;)

Hi Mary, and thank you too for the kind words! I finally got thru to the doc and OMG pain pills can be a Godsend!!! She slept thru the night!!!

I almost got that bracelet but looked closer at it and I can see the turquoise pieces on it are chipped up pretty bad, so the last thing I need right now it to do repairs. I need to add one small piece to the ring shown here and haven't found one to replace it with yet. I even tried to make one from a chip piece of turquoise but can't quite cut it the right size and to file it has proven to be impossible for me. you know me, I will find just the right bracelet to match tho!

Still crossing fingers and toes the fish fry is still on for us!!! xoxo
