I have been looking everywhere online and I can not find anywhere that talks about a version of this record being printed on clear blue vinyl. Is it really that rare? Or am I just not looking in the right place? LP1001A/LP1001B If anybody has any information on this record please let me know. I always get my questions answered here and I’m thankful for this site, so thank you in advance!!

Awesome!! Thank you for the input! By any chance do you know how many were printed?

Thomas, you don't seem to be hurting much ! Maybe I need to check into that hospital. How long is the waiting list ? Do they honour a French "VITAL" medical card ? LOL !

Thank you so much Thomas! I actually checked out Discogs before I posted here and I didn’t see anything on it. Looking forward to what you find out and thanks again!

I guess a blue record is the audio equivalent of a blue movie. I'm kind of surprised that they would have this record in the early 60's. I guess it would depend on how it was distributed, they had racy "party" albums around then also. Neat item, I'll ask a friend who's a vinyl collector if knows anything about it. Do the numbers mean it was cataloged? If so it would seem like there would be some info on it. The label seems to imply it was a mail order possibly.

I see that discogs has now changed to 12 listings of this album, but still no mention of a clear blue vinyl. Just black vinyl and “other variations.” Weird.
