What appears to be antler handled, very ornate silver plated bread fork. late 1800's at a guess but happy id anyone can identify more fully both age and handle?
Soon to be put on a certain auction site so would like to have a better understanding of it before parting with it.

Yeh, some of my stuff has gone and I do sometimes think 'why did I sell that but then hey ho. My thing at the moment is pocket watch keys. Neil

Get a metal detector then Neil.
A very frequent find because back in the day clothing was chopped up and used on farms and many a waistcoat with watch winder was sown. Its where a lot of the found coinage comes from, too. - Inc full & half sovereigns from time to time.
