Here is a 1 3-4" white rhinestone scottie dog pin with multi color rhinestone harness in goldtone setting by Kenneth Jay Lane from the 1990s. Next to a 2 3-4"H amberina glass Scottish terrier by Kanawha Glass ca 1970s, label under foot not shown
What a nice group of doggies!!
I love the detail in the little brooch- everything down to his eyes and leash are there! And the little glass figurine is in an unusual colouring I must say, but I love these little dogs, for some reason I always imagine them as being rather chic and unScottish like (:P) as though they belong in a tartan coat but trotting along beside some elegant madam in Paris somehow!
Thanks everyone for the love

Thank you for the great comment Thomas, you are right Kanawha Glass was a West Virginia glass co, and I believe their glass factory was near the Kanawha River. So much talent in glassmaking there esp the animal figures incl Viking and Pilgrim Glass
Many thanks Ken for the fantastic compliments, I too love the baguettes on the pin they make it special
You confirmed what I thought Eileen, the baguette harness looks like tartan plaid colors, I wasn't sure til you mentioned it! Thank you for the wonderful words & observs, hey I got it about the letter juxtaposition you still got the right ones, I'm always making typos no prob :)
MrsT thank you for the lovely compliment I really appreciate it & so glad you enjoyed my doggies!
Thank you Lauren for your super comment and you are right, before other little dogs like lhasa apsos became popular, fancy ladies did like to walk little terriers so they were pretty cool! And I agree, the amberina glass colors are rather uneven, but still it's a pretty scottie dog shape I think :)
Cute little Scotties!!
Thanks Scott for the great comment & love, hoped you would see this post as you have so many wonderful scottie dogs!
Love them both very much but! as you would suspect me being a glassie person, I love the red one a little bit more!..:-))..
Thanks Penny for the kind compliment and love, it is so much appreciated you have such a fantastic glass collection & I'm very pleased you enjoyed my Scotties
Many thanks Sean for the thoughtful love and support I'm totally grateful
Many thanks Malkey and Kevin for the love and support it's always greatly appreciated
Thanks vcal and Giana for the kind loves today, I'm very grateful to you and glad you are enjoying my collection
Missed this one Jenni, Is the Scotty dog one of those old 30's candy containers ? Seems too small to be that. Love that glass for this dog, as it goes from dark pink to light amber, a beauty !~
DejaVu & Phil, thank you for the love for this doggie pairing you guys are the best!
Phil thanks for your wonderful comment, glad you enjoyed that color changing terrier - no he's not a candy dish but you are right that others were made with Scottie dog lids
