Clear ketchup bottle I think it goes 4 then circle with oval and kind of looks like a star inside the oval then the 6 and 18 under the trade mark then under that in embossing duraglass under that ep-1672 and I really would like to know more about this bottle

The glass makers mark is referred to as a diamond oval-I, and represents the Owens Illinois Glass Co. The 4 is code for the Clarksburg, WV plant, at one time there were 26 plants in operation. The number six is a date code, more than likely a dot or period is after the 6, and would be the year 1946. The year the bottle was made. The 18 is a mold number for the type of bottle being made. Duraglass is type of glass developed by Owens in the early 1940's. I have no clue what the ep 1672 represents.
