This is my prized military possession from my adopted father’s side of the family. While my father was in the war (Philippines), his father helped at a prisoner of war camp in Wynne, Arkansas.
He became friends with this German (Fritz Boeke) who gave him this self portrait when he was returning to his home land after the war.
