Now this golden oldie was found at a local garage sale. It measures approximate 11 inches long. There’s a slight crack in the handle that looks like it’s a white plastic. There is a steer his head and printed on the handle I think it might be individual Caps that would go in it since there is no where to feed the caps.....

I got one of these in a holster for Christmas around 1956 or so. I believe it came from the local five and ten cent store. I think I drove everyone in the neighborhood crazy popping caps with it. This one looks in good shape for the age of it. Mine was the same gun but the trap door on the side opened and you fed a roll of caps on a spindle and threaded it up under the hammer. Each time you fired a cap when you squeezed the trigger again it advanced the roll to the next cap.

It's a Hubley. With it having the lever to open the cap compartment it could be 50's. Hubley simplified the cap compartment in the late 50's to where it just slid open. The 60's Hubley Marshals didn't have the oval on the handle, just a small circle at the top. The slight crack is not bad, this plastic will warp if not stored in a good climate. Nice find, nice condition.
