Vintage Carved Bakelite Brooch

This is a recent flea market find in the city of Aue, Germany. It is in excellent condition and the price was right.

I went to three different markets in the south/east and was really disappointed about the lack of good vintage jewellery, especially Bakelite. The few pieces that were available were rather expensive. No luck dealing with the vendors either. It just wasn't my time.
