Large Unmarked Earrings - Mexico?

I found these earrings in a small antique mall in Ontario. They are unmarked but I am reasonably certain that they are sterling and from Mexico. I love to wear them, especially when the weather gets better and I can get out my summer stuff - if that ever happens!
