The emerald green really pops against that gold!
Very Beautiful Design !.!!,!!.!
This really is a shining star, I imagine it gleaming in a silky black or navy sky, a little bit like a nativity scene or painted motifs of stars usually seen in painted church murals, it has that sort of surreal and painted quality to it I think?
Many thanks to all for the love

Thank you Ken for the fantastic compliments! I really like jewelry by Capri, always well made and not run of the mill. I believe this starburst also came in an amethyst stone but I really love the green
Thanks my dear Thomas, it has quite the "burst" appeal - I was going to hold this til @ 4th of July but since it's close I thought let's get on with the sparkle lol. Super comment as always
Right MrsT, doesn't that big square stone just catch your eye, it came in the original brown velvet box with matching earrings that I have misplaced recently since moving, apologize to not have the full set available but the brooch was the main "star" anyway! Many thanks for the great compliment
Thank you Eileen for the fabulous uplifting praise you are too kind, yes this is a pretty large piece but around medium weight so at 5'1" it's not overwhelming for me to wear, and I may choose to wear this over the July 4th wknd. Vintage jewelry is so much fun to wear as it's not common that someone else will be wearing the same thing, as my mom used to say you won't "see yourself walking" lol
Vet thank you for the wonderful compliment I'm truly glad you enjoyed this, with your fabulous tasteful collection your praise means so much to me
Lauren you are spot on as always in describing this, my first thought of the design was the Star of Bethlehem over the nativity scene, if you are feeling that too maybe we found out the original motive for this one! Thank you so much for the terrific comment and excellent ideation, I always look forward to your super creative thoughts
Thanks so much Sean for the love and support I'm very grateful, and glad you liked this Baccarat piece
This is so pretty! Looks very much like the 'atomic' era of the 50's
Thanks Mary for the fabulous compliment, so glad you loved this piece & appreciate the kind words
Right Eileen, our moms had an answer for everything & it's funny how we seem to understand their sayings better over time
Thanks Share for the great compliment and I agree about the atomic look
Grateful for the love
