I've had this old desk for years and just wondering if anyone knows a maker. I originally picked it up at a yard sale, and was told it was from the 1940's. It measures 30.5" high and the top is 24" deep x 47.5" long. The body or base of the desk is 22.25" deep x 45" long. As you can see in the photo it has a side panel on one side and instead of legs it has a single wood 'foot' painted black. The handles on the desk are painted metal. Now, I am not sure if the formica on top is original to the piece or if it was added later (that's how I got it). It is really an awesome piece and I'm hoping to get more info. No furniture maker stamp or anything that I could find in the drawers or underneath that I noticed (it's currently in storage while we remodel our home.) Thanks for any information anyone may have to offer.
