Mystery solved. These were made in the period of 1968 to 1971 and later. This onebis around 1069and likely made in Italy. I used to go to garage sales to buy some for the marble if it as round and not pierced and the marble was simple plain white woth some black striations to more elaborate portobello marble. One of the nicest I found I bought for the marble which was costly but the plaster bases which were bad. The decoration of the lamps could be fine like yours or went down to very poor. I love these. They were about 99% unsigned so most are not marked. This would have held brass lampshades which are missing but with a lot of luck can be found. I bought a bunch years ago when they were on sale at sears.
