Does anyone recognize this signature? It looks like stone, weighs 15 pounds. 12 inches tall, 7 inches wide.
    Thanks

Google brought me back this name, netvnavy tavoi The remainder of the document I am waiting for the translation to finish. My search was for stone sculptor n. tavoi because that appeared to be the name.

Well that didn't translate very well. It was in French and I couldn't make much out of it except the name, the words sculptor after the name and then Paris. Perhaps it is something you care to pursue and perhaps not. Either way thanks for sharing it and good luck.

Thank YOU so very much! I certainly will pursue!

This is so weird, I typed in exactly what you did and it doesn't come up on my phone, so I asked my sister to do so on her computer and didn't come up either...will definitely keep pursuit
      Again, thank YOU!

      Fhrjr2,
If permissible, will you copy and paste link? I still haven't found. I am using Chrome browser. Thanks

I am using Firefox with Google search and I didn't save the link because I couldn't read it. I will give it a try again after a bit, expecting someone right now. Assuming I can find it again I will gladly post a link to it. Only thing I can actually remember is the link I followed was an archive and ended in .org rather than .com or .net.

For that weight, I'll guess lignum vitae, although there are several other tropical hardwoods almost as dense.

No, pretty sure it is stone.
      Thanks
