I came across this beautiful hand made bracelet but I am puzzled by the number 13, as it seems to indicate German origin. The style of the bracelet is more of a middle eastern design. Any insight or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Could be any country where Loth standard was used (Germany, Denmark,Norway, Austria- Hungary Empire).Very nice filigree work with twisted wire soldered to a sheet of silver (less often seen and better than open work). Although commonly attributed to Middle East,filigree was widely used in Europe.Cannot tell more because the mark in the 3rd image is unknown to me (could be town mark ).
It would help to see the clasp mechanism as many of these had a gate closure with a pin securing the bracelet through a sleeve, vertically.
The second picture seems to show a very worn female head turned to the left, several Eastern European used female heads for silver content. I'm thinking Poland. The type of tiny twisted wires and small flowers was called cannetille, in early 20th century.

Wow. Thank you both so much for sharing your knowledge. It will certainly help in further research. Yes, this bracelet does have a pin type closure you are describing. I will attempt to take a picture of it and add it to the post.
