Even cute on first sight, this Allach Rabbit is evil on the the second sight. Allach porcelain pieces has been produced in by inmates of the concentration camp Dachau. Around 75% of the production has been given to members of the SS. Heinrich Himmler was a known collector of Allach and often gave Allach figures to friends and persons within his inner circle.
I don't lke to find allach pieces.... Even the quality is outstanding

Thank you for this most informative and compassionate background on Allach porcelain. I was intrigued, and read more in an online article titled Figurines in Dachau by Edmund de Waal from The Guardian. The Nazis were obsessed with white porcelain for its appearance of purity. This rabbit is very beautiful, much as the prisoner artist had a beautiful soul. Thank you for posting
