    I think I found some early 1900 Apache Naive American baskets.
    I think they are willow and devils claw. They are very strong!
    I don't think they are Pima.

      They are both African, traditional designs from Botswana. The one on the left appears to be a variation of the pattern called "Forehead of the Zebra," and the other one "The Back of the Python." They are woven from the local Mokola palm fiber.
