I think I found some early 1900 Apache Naive American baskets.
I think they are willow and devils claw. They are very strong!
I don't think they are Pima.

They are both African, traditional designs from Botswana. The one on the left appears to be a variation of the pattern called "Forehead of the Zebra," and the other one "The Back of the Python." They are woven from the local Mokola palm fiber.
Beautiful African baskets!
Thank you so much! It's amazing to me how close the basketry is to the Apache.
