A lovely ceramic NoS ashtray that harks back to the glory days of the 1970s in the UK. From what I can remember, the TV tagline was "the pint that thinks it's a quart", or I may have gotten my branding muddled there!
Fantastic condition, not a mark or ding on its surfaces at all. There's something Edwardian about its design, even the glaze gives it a very wooden look. Actually a friend of mine said it reminded him of either a piano - or bizarrely, a coffin!
Anyway, while not exactly the most elegant ashtray in my collection, it's certainly got presence and I'm really proud to have it, especially as it's the only Whitbread ashtray I have. (...I think...)
    Hope you guys like it.

Now I can't get that damn jingle out of my head. Thanks so much for that in-depth info. :)
