I'd actually forgotten I had this and only unearthed it a couple of weeks ago which pleased me no end. It's a fabulous piece and unscratched / undamaged anywhere on its surface. This is pre-'Heart of Asia brushstroke visual' ( The deeper green of the felt backing also harks back to the Swire Branding), so I guess it'll date it mid to late 80's (perhaps even earlier). I was working on the CX account while I was living in Hong Kong and Cargo were under my marketing wing so to speak. I can't remember whether it was given to me or it 'accidentally' fell into my briefcase while we were over at Cargo's HQ. It's a great memento of my time in Hongkers which will stay me forever.
Sorry about the poor photos, it's extremely tricky for a rank amateur such as I to take decent photos of highly reflective glass.
Hope you like it.
Ha ha, I'm sure it was given to me...errr, I think... ;)
True, true. I have to admit that one or two ashtrays have (*cough*) accidentally fallen into my briefcase when checking out of a hotel.... :)
"Gosh, I wonder how that got in there? "
