Even though I wasn't looking for this, it screamed out to be bought from a toy collector guy's shop late last year. Corgi made two of these 1:18 models, this McLaren and the John Player Special Lotus 72 (you'll see that later!) So, the box isn't mint and although some might disapprove, I've reinforced the box's inner edges with Scotch tape.
However, as I'm not really a box guy, the model is in excellent shape with only slight yellowing of the decals and one of the Texaco decals on the airbox is coming adrift.
As you can see from photo 4, it still has the original key which unbolts the wheels, a real collector's dream. I'm absolutely thrilled to get this as Corgi were reputed not have made all that many of them.
