The ART Company was founded by Arthur Pepper in New York in the late 40's. The mid 40's to the mid 50's saw the ART Company designing and producing jewelry in very different styles, and rarely, figurals of animals and reptiles. Their pieces really keep there value, and are as good today as they were when made - the materials used were of excellent quality.
Collectors of ART jewelry have noticed a similarity to Florenza and Hollycraft.
Such a beautiful and fancy design, I thought at first a starfish but it is actually a gorgeous leaf, nice find!
