Red and white spatter on a clear base with strong golden iridescence.
This is an addition to my small collection of this general shape. In reality there are small differences between the shapes and none have been identified. This is the first with iridescence. I do however have a basket and a rose bowl in a similar style of spatter, also red and white.
My only other examples of iridescence on spatter are by Welz. However this one has a smooth surface whereas the examples of Welz iridescence have a surface texture. I think I'd be a little sorry if the mystery was ever solved.
