I have an antique doll that stands 20" tall. She has a bisque head and shoulder with leather body and bendable knees. she has pretty brown eyes that open and close and a parted mouth. The marking on the back is difficult to make out but the number is 154 I believe. Can anyone guide me to the original maker?
Thank you Mary
Sure hope someone can help me identify my doll. I have had her for several years but have been unable to confirm what company made her. Would appreciate any help you may have to offer. Thanks Mary
I googled Antique Doll 154 and came up with Kestner, a German maker!
She is a German Kestner doll . Yes AdeleC you got it right :-) 154 mold is a common one to find by Kestner . Very nice
Thank you Adele and Manikin, I appreciate the help. I could only make out the 154 and not the other factory stamp so was not sure if other doll makers also used that number. Your help is greatly appreciated.
