    I bought these yesterday. In indoor light they are yellow but show green as soon as they get anywhere near sunlight and as you can see they glow really well. I've not had a good look for them but I assume they are English around 1880.

      I now know these are Sowerby No. 692 "Chamber Candlesticks" shown here on P.15 of the 1874 catalogue.
