I was stunned to find this set in a thriftshop here in The Netherlands.
The necklace and earrings are not marked for sterling. I tested them and they are silver There are no marks on
the earrings but the necklace is marked Nancy Mukkee (?) Zuni. It's marked with dots and barely legible. I'm not able to take a picture of the marks.
I paid almost nothing. After I left the shop I did a little happy dance. Absolutely a keeper for me.
Only times I've seen a piece like that here in NL 'twas in a museum. A truly amazing find, congrats!
Wow what a great find ! Gorgeous
OMG! You know I'm jumpin' in on this post!!! So lucky! All the hot spots here are wise to the prize these days. MOST of the time, not always. I absolutely love this and yes, Zuni. Although I am not familiar with the work of Nancy Mukkee.
I'm thinking this could possibly be Navajo too. I'll check for you, only if you trade with me!!! haha This is a very different design. I need to take a closer look at it and I'll check the maker. Be back.

This is a good reference site but you'll have to look as there's no Mukkee and because it goes by first name first, I didn't see any Nancy either but it's not the only site. At this point, it really doesn't matter does it? haha such a great find! I can only imagine what your next to nothing was! BTW, I'm back to yes, Zuni! Good lookin' out!
Thanks everyone for the love.
Shareurpassion, it is marked Zuni. That mark I can read. I'm not sure of the last name of the artist. I made 15 photo's of the marks, this one is the best.
(Next to nothing is less than USD 2,00)
There is a piece by a Nancy on this sight but not the right sirname. But here is a necklace by some body else (not a Nancy) with somewhat similar design and it sais suni. The price tag is interesting. What a great find!!!!!

If you want more information on the maker and don't find it here you could email a specialist shops and ask if they know and if they have something by her. There are some large shops like that in Albuquerque New Mexico. I have visited a few but it was.a long time ago. Here is one of them.

Sorry for a lot of suggestions from me :) There is also the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center with museum in the same town that you could turn to and ask. Good luck!
